Complete Solution
This kit comes with everything you need to power and protect your in-cabinet appliance garage. Included are (1) Safety Interlock Disconnect and your choice of either 1 AC 20 amp outlet (2 connections) with 1 GFCI 20 amp outlet (2 connections) or 2 AC 20 amp outlets (4 connections). Install the outlets into a new or existing 3-gang junction box (not supplied), integrate the interlock disconnect in the first section of your 3-gang junction box along with the outlets included in the kit in the second and third sections, and then install the Corner Mount Limit Switch to the corner of your cabinet behind the hinged side of the cabinet door(s).
Added Layer of Safety
The Corner Mount Limit switch senses the cabinet door position, and will trigger the Disconnect to cut power to the integrated outlets when the door is closed. This additional layer of safety was designed to add peace of mind when powering small appliances within cabinet spaces that are enclosed by a door when not in use, and are great for any home, rental homes, aging in place communities, or areas like Canada where it is required by code for AC outlets to be de-energized inside enclosed cabinet space.
